The S-103 was a MiG-15bis built under license by Aero Vodochody in Czechoslovakia. The type was the country’s main jet fighter between 1954 and 1958.
According to the museum website, this example was flown by the Czechoslovakian 11th Air Regiment. The crest of the city of Ostrava is painted on the nose.
On display in the Military Aviation Hangar at the National Museum of Flight (part of National Museums Scotland).
