Is he Ryuuhei or Rippei?[編集]

I'm not that proficient in Japanese, but what is the correct reading? I've checked my dictionary and it doesn't list the Rippei variant, only Ryuuhei. Though I've also checked kanji readings individually, and they are Ritsu + Hei => Rippei, and that makes some sense. But again I learned not to rely on common sense when reading Japanese names... So what's the correct one? ru:Ari

According to 外山操編『陸海軍将官人事総覧』芙蓉書房出版, his given name is りゅうへい. おぎす りゅうへい (Огису Рюхей). Takabeg会話2018年7月2日 (月) 12:57 (UTC)[返信]
According to International Military Tribunal for the Far East, R. John Pritchard and Sonia Zaide Pritchard (ed.), The Tokyo War Crimes Trial: Index and Guide, Vol.3, p. 411., Garland, 1985, "Ogisu Rippei was also known as Ogisu Ryuhei but identified himself here as Ogisu Rippei."
